In September, we visited the process from application to interview in our blog here. After you have completed your interview with one of our recruiters, the time period until you start an assignment can vary. It all depends on our clients and their needs. Below are the basic steps that have to happen between your interview with us and your new assignment.

  1. We find a client who needs you!

We conduct confidential searches for our clients, so we will tell you the about the company without disclosing their name. If you are interested in the position and company we describe, our recruiters will submit your resume for the client’s review. We provide our clients options, so they will possibly be reviewing a number of candidates’ resumes.

  1. We set up an interview between our client and you!

The recruiters become the liaisons between the candidates and the clients. We will handle all of the arrangements between you and the client in order to make everyone’s process as smooth as possible. We are sometimes scheduling a number of interviews for the clients. They can make one call or email to us, and then we handle the rest.

  1. We facilitate your onboarding process!

Once the client had decided that you are the candidate they want, we begin the process of onboarding you to their company. The recruiters and recruiter assistants here at our office are more than happy to help get you through all of the onerous paperwork that comes with your new position. We have simplified this process as much as possible, and it is now online for you to complete. You will receive a series of emails containing instructions for each step of the process, and you are even able to sign electronically! We will stay in touch with you throughout the entire process.

  1. We still need you to keep in touch!

After your start at your new assignment, we will want to hear from you! The first day of your assignment, we would love to know you made it to our client and your new position successfully. (Don’t forget to factor in traffic times into your new drive time.) We request that you communicate with us if you are going to miss work. We also will check in with you from time to time to assess how you are enjoying your new role or if there are any issues that need to be addressed. We will also be providing you feedback from the client on your performance.

While the majority of the time our recruiters will have a position in mind for you when you come into interview, the assignment, of course, all depends on the client.  Sometimes a position can be filled before your resume can be submitted or the requirements for the position can be changed quickly. However, if you’ve impressed us during the process, our recruiters will continue to consider you for future positions with a variety of clients.
